What Kind Of Dog Is That NHL Team: Western Conference

Have you ever wondered what kind of dog your favourite team is? Here you go, unless your favourite team plays in the eastern conference:



Anaheim Ducks:

The Anaheim Ducks are Dobermen because they look so strong!

Arizona Coyotes:

A coyote.

Calgary Flames:

The Flames are Shiba Inus because they are fun but do we need to keep hearing about them?

Chicago Blackhawks:

Now that they have no Sharp, the Blackhawks are clearly these very round Bichon Frises.

Colorado Avalanche:

Like the Schipperke, I can't decide if the Avalanche are fun or just chaotic.

Dallas Stars:

Pugs. Some will say "These are just the cutest!" but are they really?

Edmonton Oilers: 

Malteses always look like they’ve been struck by a sense of doubt. They also look somewhat ghostly, reminiscent of the Oiler’s successful past that haunts the current team. Despite this, there is something optimistic in the eyes.

Los Angeles Kings:

The LA Kings are raccoons because they wear black and white, they once used garbage cans to keep their coach outside of the dressing room, and because of Anze's sweet raccoon under eyes.

Minnesota Wild:

Ryan Suter and Zach Parise just scream Flat-Coated Retrievers.

Nashville Predators:

At first glance it's like, what's going on here? Then it's like hey this is fun! The Predators are Pomeranians.

San Jose Sharks:

The only dog that defines the Sharks is one of their own, Brent Burns, who is essentially a dog.

St. Louis Blues:

The Blues are a pack of wild dogs because they are wild and David Backes loves many dogs.

Vancouver Canucks:

The Canucks are this specific dog from a Swedish dog shelter, whose name was translated from Swedish into "That’s nice". What says "Vancouver Canucks" more than the Swedish-to-English translation of "That’s nice?"

Winnipeg Jets:

The Jets are huskies because Winnipeg is a frozen wilderness.
