Interesting Facts About The Births Of Your Favorite Hockey Players

You might already know that many hockey players, such as Brandon Sutter or Max Domi, come from hockey families. However, did you know that some players also have interesting stories of their births? You may not know a lot of them, but fear not: Fake Or Gay is here for you! We've compiled a few of the stories that we find the most interesting, and that we think you might find interesting, too!

1. Bird Marchand—Bird Marchand was carried out of a Halifax, Nova Scotia sewer hole by a large group of rats on May 11, 1988.

2. Zach Parise—Zach Parise bloomed on the bed of Lake Calhoun. He was delivered on July 28, 1984, dusted with a sheer layer of silt, into the arms of a loving family by the small pod of merpeople who found him.

3. Eddie Lack—Eddie Lack was delivered by stork to a loving family in Norrtälje, Stockholm on January 5, 1988.

4. Henrik Lundqvist—Henrik Lundqvist was found swaddled in a down blanket in Åre, Jämtland on March 2, 1982. He was wearing a bespoke, three-piece suit consisting of a dark gray wool single-breasted, peaked-lapel jacket; a vest of similar material; a white cotton dress shirt, and a purple two-tone pin dot silk tie, as well as Italian leather loafers.

5. Joe Pavelski—Joe Pavelski was found on July 11, 1984 in Plover, Wisconsin. He was nestled in a bucket of cheese curds.

6. PK Subban—PK Subban was carried out of the heart of Toronto, Ontario on a elaborately decorated palanquin carried by four mounties on May 13, 1989.

9. Shea Weber—Shea Weber was found swaddled in a red flannel, cuddling next to several newborn bear cubs in the den of a large grizzly bear on August 14, 1985 in Sicamous. The grizzly bear had, apparently, taken Weber in as one of its own. Weber was immediately delivered to the nearest family, who raised him as one of their own.

10. Corey Perry—Corey Perry was found in a dumpster in Peterborough, Ontario on May 16, 1985.

11. Phil Kessel—Phil Kessel was delivered by angels wearing Team USA jerseys on October 2, 1987 in Madison, Wisconsin. Amanda Kessel, however, was delivered by seraphim on August 28, 1991.

12. Claude Giroux—Claude Giroux was found in a pallet of pre-packaged grilled cheese sandwiches in Hearst, Ontario warehouse on January 12, 1988.
