One member of FOGSquad has decided that, in the face of all these statistics, NHL hockey is missing out on one of the most important stats: dadliness. Therefore, FOGSquad has decided to apply a proprietary algorithm to each member of the San Jose Sharks to determine the level of dadliness in comparison to the player's level of skill.

From top to bottom, left to right, here are the official rankings.
Quadrant I (dadly and unskilled)
[blank]
Quadrant II (dadly and skilled)
Tommy Wingels, Patrick Marleau, Joe Thornton
Paul Martin
Joel Ward, Justin Braun
Alex Stalock (on the dadly axis)
Martin Jones, Brent Burns, Marc-Edouard Vlasic
Quadrant III (undadly and skilled)
Ben Smith, Joe Pavelski (on the skilled axis)
Tomas Hertl, Brenden Dillon
Melker Karlsson
Matt Nieto, Mirco Mueller
Logan Couture
Quadrant IV (undadly and unskilled)
Mike Brown
What do you think? Let us know if you think we should apply this critically acclaimed statistical index to other teams!
Thanks to friend of the blog Jake for the idea!
