Yesterday, as I was passing through my Twitter dot com feed, tweeting hot takes about the Leafs, I saw a tweet by the venerable Conrad, that read:
nhl players as episodes of it's always sunny in philadephia
— conrad (@atrodorsus) February 26, 2015
Immediately, the tweets came swarming in, and I’d be remiss in my duties to Fake or Gay, and the FOGsquad, if I didn’t compile the best jokes surrounding this premise, and my own, which you’ll probably be able to find due to their relative lack of quality.
"The Great Hairline Recession"
"The Gang Finds Corey Perry"
"Dwight is a Serial Killer"
"Maxime Lapierre: King of the Rats"
"The Kings Exploit A Miracle"
"Frank Sets Wild Wing on Fire"
"NBC Reignites the Rivalry"
So there you have it, a terrible attempt by myself, and valiant efforts by others to make jokes about professional hockey players based on a great show that’s currently showing on FX.
Thanks for contributing, Connor! And thanks to everyone who contributed to this post as a whole. Have a great day!
